What to Expect at Your First Visit

Confidential Intake

Your first contact is completely confidential. Federal law — HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, which applies specifically to SUD treatment records — protects every conversation and every document from your first call forward.

Clinical Assessment

A clinician conducts a comprehensive ASAM assessment to identify the right level of care for your situation. This is a clinical conversation, not an interrogation — its purpose is to understand how we can best support you.

Your Care Team

From day one, you are connected to a care team that may include a licensed counselor, nursing staff, a psychiatric NP, a case manager, and a certified peer recovery supporter with lived experience.

Accessibility

Our case managers actively help address transportation barriers and can connect you with resources if getting to appointments is a challenge. Contact us to discuss options.

Blue Heart Services complies with applicable federal civil rights laws. Language assistance services are available free of charge. Call 513.790.3033 (TTY: 711).
