Your Privacy Is Protected by Federal Law
Because Blue Heart Services provides substance use disorder treatment, your records are protected by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, a federal regulation specific to SUD treatment that is stricter than standard HIPAA. It covers every contact, record and conversation from your first call forward.
What this means for you: We can’t share your information with your employer, your family or (with limited exceptions) law enforcement without your specific written consent.
