Disorder Treatment in Cincinnati, Ohio

You don't have to do this alone.

ASAM-level outpatient care — IOP, PHP, MAT, psychiatric services, and certified peer recovery support. Evidence-based, integrated, and confidential by federal law.

ASAM-Level Treatment Programs

Every program is clinically matched to where you are — from ambulatory withdrawal management through outpatient maintenance — with nursing, psychiatric, peer recovery, and case management support integrated at every level of care.

Ambulatory Withdrawal Management

ASAM Level 2 community-based withdrawal management with nursing assessments, vital monitoring, medication management, and physician/NP oversight — no hospital admission required.

Partial Hospitalization Program

ASAM Level 2.5 intensive structured treatment with group and individual counseling, case management, peer support, nursing, medication management, psychiatric services, and ongoing ASAM-level review.

Intensive Outpatient Program

ASAM Level 2.1 outpatient treatment with four group sessions weekly, individual counseling, case management, peer support, and psychiatric services — structured to allow clients to maintain employment and family responsibilities.

Outpatient Program

ASAM Level 1.0 ongoing clinical support for individuals with greater recovery stability, including individual counseling, case management, peer support, nursing, medication management, and psychiatric services.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Evidence-based MAT with Suboxone and other clinically appropriate medications for opioid and substance use disorders, paired with assessments, counseling, toxicology monitoring, and ongoing provider follow-up.

Psychiatric & Mental Health Services

Psychiatric NP services at Blue Heart Services include mental health evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing care for co-occurring disorders integrated within SUD treatment.

Lab & Toxicology Services

Random toxicology testing integrated across all Blue Heart Services treatment levels — up to twice weekly in PHP and withdrawal management, typically weekly in outpatient — with results incorporated directly into treatment planning.

GeneSight Pharmacogenomic Testing

GeneSight testing at Blue Heart Services follows a psychiatric evaluation to identify how your genetic profile may affect responses to psychiatric medications, supporting more personalized treatment planning.

Case Management

Integrated case management across all Blue Heart Services treatment levels, addressing housing, transportation, employment, healthcare access, benefits acquisition, and community resource coordination.

Peer Recovery Support

Certified Peer Recovery Supporters at Blue Heart Services draw on lived experience to help clients develop recovery skills, build support networks, navigate challenges, engage in treatment, and sustain long-term recovery.

Community. Acceptance. Recovery.

Three principles that shape every interaction, every program, and every clinical decision at Blue Heart Services.

Community

Recovery happens in community. Our certified peer recovery supporters bring lived experience alongside clinical care — you are not navigating this alone.

Acceptance

We meet you where you are, regardless of your history, your substance, or how many times you have tried before. Judgment has no place here.

Recovery

Clinically matched, ASAM-level care — withdrawal management, PHP, IOP, MAT, psychiatric services, and ongoing outpatient support for lasting recovery.
